Part of what makes Steens Mountain Guest Ranch unique is that you really become part of the crew.  We eat at the same table, work under the same sky, and sleep under the same roof.  Tim, Seth, Dan, September, and Susan O’Crowley worked together to build their “home on the range,” and are pleased to offer you a room under their own roof. Built in 2011, the home is “headquarters” to the guest ranch; it is open, comfortable, and spacious.

​Guests are welcomed with genuine warmth and treated like family, creating an atmosphere that is both inviting and authentic. Each day is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of the landscape, whether you're helping with ranch chores, riding horseback through stunning vistas, or simply enjoying the tranquility that surrounds you. Evenings are spent sharing stories by the fire, where laughter and camaraderie fill the air. At Steens Mountain Guest Ranch, every moment is a chance to connect with nature, yourself, and the wonderful people who call this place home.
